Spectrecom
was founded January 1st 1993 by Terry and Sandra Allen servicing
Crosfield Drum Scanners. We quickly offered our clients upgrades to
their Crosfield Scanners allowing scanning to Apple Macintosh
workstations and then high resolution film output to the exposure
drum. Naturally we expanded to Servers and Networking. In the late
1990’s the Printing Industry was moving to Computer to Plate technology
so we have focused our energy into Computer to Plate Systems and
Digital Proofing. We became factory trained dealers for Escher-Grad and
the Cobalt violet CTP line, Mitsubishi for the Polyester CTP, and
Epson. We are now dealers for Screen and are trained to service the
Trendsetter.
We
offer the Epson StylusPro 4880, 7880 and 9880 InkJet Plotters and stock
the Epson Ink for the Stylus Pro line. Additionally, we offer a wide
range of Ink Jet media such as proofing papers, Canvas and fine art
papers.
We
are introducing the new addition of the stone based paper products made
with absolutely no wood fibers! Environmentally safe and we think might
eventually replace traditional paper in the future.
